About Jojo
Roam Rome is run by Jojo, a Roman native, based in Testaccio. Born and raised in the city, she spent years abroad in the US working in design and logistics, then came back. That time away changed how she sees Rome: with the deep familiarity of someone who grew up here, and the perspective of someone who has left and returned. The result is a planning approach that is specific, unhurried, and built around how Rome actually works, not how it appears in a travel guide.
Rome is a city of layers. Three thousand years of history can sit within a single walk: ancient temples beside Renaissance palaces, Baroque fountains a turn away from contemporary cafés.
The city rewards those who slow down enough to notice it: a Caravaggio quietly hanging in a neighborhood church, a mosaic tucked into a side chapel, a trattoria where recipes have been passed down for generations.
