Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 2026
Roam Rome is operated by Nexa Holdings LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Trader identity details are in our Imprint.
Business Identity
Proposals, invoices, and agreements are issued by Nexa Holdings LLC (United States). Communications under “Roam Rome” are legally executed by Nexa Holdings LLC. Contact: contact@nexaholdings.net, phone +1-781-277-7117.
Scope of Services
- Private Itinerary Design for Rome and nearby destinations (including instant-download PDFs and custom plans) — planning documents and advisory content, not carriage or accommodation.
- Separate optional services you may buy on their own pages (for example airport transfer coordination, restaurant reservation coordination, planning calls). Each is a separate contract with its own checkout.
- Advisory: local guidance tailored to pace and interests (including planning calls).
Where a service involves a driver, guide, restaurant, or ticket issuer, that party performs the underlying service under their own terms. We coordinate or plan; we are not the carrier or hotelier.
Not package travel
We do not sell “package travel” or act as a package organiser under Directive (EU) 2015/2302 (and Italian implementing rules). In particular:
- We do not offer a single inclusive holiday combining transport + accommodation (or similar) as one product.
- Itineraries / PDFs and other services are sold separately. An airport transfer, if you want one, is purchased on its own checkout — not bundled into the itinerary order.
- We do not advertise or sell “travel packages,” “full trip packages,” or similar.
- Partner ticket or experience links (e.g. Tiqets, GetYourGuide) send you to those providers’ own checkouts; those contracts are with them.
If you buy more than one Roam Rome service, you still enter separate contracts for each. Nothing in these Terms creates a package or linked travel arrangement as a single organised holiday product.
Fees & Payments
- Prices shown at checkout are in euros unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes where displayed by Stripe Checkout.
- Planning/coordination fees become payable when you confirm checkout. For consumers in the EU, UK, or Italy, statutory withdrawal rights may apply (see Cancellations below) — we do not rely on a blanket “non-refundable” label to override those rights.
- Third-party items (tickets, guides, transport) follow each vendor’s policies.
- Reasonable payment processing fees may be passed through at cost when disclosed at checkout.
Cancellations, refunds & withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Italy buying at a distance, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive / Codice del Consumo, subject to the exceptions below.
- Instant-download itinerary PDFs: these are digital content. If you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge loss of withdrawal once the download is available, the 14-day right ends when performance begins as disclosed at checkout.
- Custom itineraries & coordination: if you ask us to start work during the withdrawal period, you may withdraw but we may charge a proportionate amount for work already performed. Once the itinerary or service has been fully delivered with your prior agreement, withdrawal no longer applies to that performance.
- Transfers, drivers, restaurant packs, planning calls: the same early-performance rules apply once coordination or the booked slot has begun with your agreement. Unused future legs may be handled case by case where the law requires.
- Vendor-supplied tickets and entries: refunds depend on the vendor’s policy and are often non-refundable after purchase.
- Force majeure (weather, strikes, health events) may require adjustments; we will assist with rescheduling when feasible.
To withdraw or request a refund assessment, email contact@nexaholdings.net with your order or Stripe receipt details.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (medical, interruption, cancellation) is strongly recommended. We are not responsible for costs arising from insufficient coverage.
Privacy
We collect only what’s needed to deliver your trip. Use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Participant Responsibilities
- Ensure fitness for travel; disclose relevant needs in advance.
- Hold valid travel documents and comply with entry rules.
- Provide accurate information and review confirmations.
Liability
We design and coordinate; independent vendors perform services. We are not liable for vendor acts/omissions. Nothing limits liability where not permitted by law (e.g., gross negligence or willful misconduct), or mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Photography
With your permission, photos from hosted experiences may be used for marketing. You can opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law of your country of residence applies. Parties attempt good-faith negotiation first; unresolved matters may proceed to mediation or arbitration in Massachusetts except where prohibited by mandatory law for consumers.
European Union, United Kingdom & Italian consumers
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Italy, you benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive by contract (including statutory withdrawal, refund, or dispute rights where applicable).
- You may bring legal proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where EU or UK consumer law grants you that option.
- The Massachusetts governing-law and arbitration clauses above do not override mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction.
- For digital content or distance contracts, any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal rights that apply in your country remain available where the law requires them, subject to the exceptions disclosed at checkout and in the Cancellations section above.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission operates an Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We prefer to resolve issues directly at contact@nexaholdings.net.
Privacy and data rights are described in our Privacy Policy, including how to contact us and complain to your supervisory authority.
